Vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 are both water-soluble vitamins that belong to the B-complex family. They do not interfere with each other’s absorption, metabolism, or excretion. Instead, they work together (synergistically) to lower levels of homocysteine, an amino acid in the blood that is linked to heart disease when levels are too high.
It is safe to take vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 at the same time. Many high-quality B-complex supplements and multivitamins contain both. Always follow the dosage instructions on the product label or those provided by your healthcare professional.
