FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – The Crim Fitness Foundation is hosting a six-hour wellness retreat on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its downtown Flint location.

The Serene Saturday Wellness Retreat will take place at 719 Harrison Street. The event will offer gentle movement, breathwork, sound immersion and yoga in a trauma-informed environment.

“This retreat is more than just a day of relaxation; it is a commitment to yourself,” Special Project Manager Theresa Roach said.

“Prioritizing yourself, your mental wellbeing, your physical wellbeing, can be challenging,” Roach said. “A one day retreat like this gives people a chance to try it out for themselves.”

The retreat is designed to provide a mental reset and help participants gain clarity. Attendees can move at their own pace throughout the day.

Admission costs $75 per person, and participants must be 18 or older. Limited mats, blankets and blocks are available, though people can bring their own.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided, but participants should bring their own lunch. All proceeds fund the Crim’s work to improve health and quality of life for Genesee County residents.
