This K-beauty tightening serum is made with retinaldehyde (also known as retinal, with an “a”), which is the strongest retinoid you can buy over the counter. At .1% retinal concentration, it’s 10 times more potent than retinol (with an “o”), so it delivers prescription-level firming and smoothing without the harshness or breaking-in period.
But what I noticed after using it consistently every night for two weeks was how it made the dime-sized pores on my upper cheeks and around my nose essentially disappear. It’s an excellent product if you’re experiencing rough-textured skin post-menopause — or, really, ever.
