Tallinn’s underground scene has long thrived on experimentation and collaboration, and Beauty “Exists in Everyone” embodies that ethos fully. The album, the debut of Fuzzolini (Valter Nõmm, formerly of Shelton San), is a rotating collective project, each track featuring a different collaborator from Estonia’s creative underground. The result is a soundscape that feels simultaneously chaotic, cohesive, and intensely alive.
From the hypnotic electronic vocals of Mari-Liis Rebane opening the album to the hardcore bite of Kalli Talonpoika and Isabella Pragi’s punk intensity, every track introduces a distinct energy while remaining tethered by a core rhythm section: Filipp Lepalaan (drums), Kristi Jõeste (analog synths), Margus Voolpriit (bass), and producer Magnus Andre, whose contributions ensure the album’s sonic throughline.
Musically, the album spans heavy, immersive noise, jagged punk energy, synth-driven eeriness, and flashes of pop brightness. Tracks like “Ghost Beyond the Glass” and “Twilight Haze” explore shadowy, hypnotic textures, while “Born to Burn” juxtaposes fuzz-laden guitars with a propulsive alternative pop sensibility. The closing track, “Empty Street,” is a masterclass in free-improvisation, with Roomet Jakapi’s vocals providing a haunting, expansive finale that lingers long after the record ends.
What makes “Beauty Exists in Everyone” compelling is its balance of unpredictability and intentionality. Each collaborator brings a unique voice, but the album never feels fragmented; instead, it captures a living snapshot of Tallinn’s underground, blending generational and stylistic influences into a singular, daring statement. Fuzzolini’s debut is both a document and an invitation: a vivid glimpse into a network of artists who are reshaping alternative music with courage, experimentation, and unmistakable vitality.
