Premium dog nutrition company PawCo Foods, which sells primarily via a direct-to-consumer subscription site and on Amazon.com, has launched a proprietary AI-enabled search assistant.
The AI tool delivers personalized nutrition recommendations to pet owners via chat.mypawco.com, centralizing expert insights from decades of peer-reviewed research and vet-informed data sets, and replacing a previously fragmented online search experience.
The assistant incorporates data from organizations such as the FDA and AAFCO, AVMA and ASPCA, and cross-references ingredients against toxicity databases.

PawCo said the technology will address a gap in the market for trustworthy, accessible pet nutrition guidance, helping pet owners to make more informed decisions about their dog’s health and wellness.
“Dog owners have endless questions about diet, ingredients, and overall wellness and nutrition, but there hasn’t been a fast, reliable way to get clear answers,” Dr. Mahsa Vazin, PawCo founder, said in a statement. “We built PawCo AI to make credible, science-backed guidance instantly accessible and personalized to each individual dog, so pet parents can feel confident they’re making the best possible decisions for their dog’s long-term health.”
Through the chat assistant, pet owners can obtain customized feeding plans and meal recommendations based on their dog’s weight, age, activity level and health conditions. Additionally, if they’re looking for specific foods to support wellness goals, such as improved digestion and gut health, they can access smart product recommendations.
