SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) — A Springfield native and community organizer opened a new herbal wellness shop ‘Mindful Necessities’ in Mason Square on Monday.
The business is led by CEO Keya Hicks, who says the goal is to uplift the mind, body and soul of the community with natural healing products and a space for mindful connection. The shop features handcrafted herbal infusions and topicals, a cultural boutique with clothing, jewelry and art, plus non‑toxic, eco‑friendly cleaning, pet and household products.
Hicks also left a message to all who are thinking about visiting her shop, “It’s not anti-HMO or anti-pharmaceutical. It’s just another natural way of offering that alternative to people who want to heal themselves, who want to work to learn more about good health and what it takes to maintain that good health.”
Mindful Necessities can be found on State Street in Springfield.
