Paris Jackson’s beauty aesthetic is often defined by dark, grungy makeup, though she occasionally swaps it for a lighter, more ethereal look with a subtle bohemian edge.

Growing up homeschooled, the model wasn’t allowed to wear makeup until she started school, but she was raised with the belief that beauty comes from within – a philosophy that, now at 28, continues to shape her approach to beauty today.

HELLO! takes a closer look at Paris’ everyday routine, which blends high-end products with wellness practices and mindful rituals. With a high-maintenance approach to beauty, we’re delving into exactly how she maintains her youthful glow.

Paris Jackson’s beauty secrets

Back in 2023, Paris opened up to ELLE India about her beauty habits. “My beauty routine is taking Irish sea moss supplements first, then washing my face and putting on sunscreen,” she shared.

Irish sea moss is a great supplement due to its nutrient density, with iodine, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. It supports thyroid function, digestive health, immune system strengthening, and skin nourishment.

As for SPF, as well as providing instant results by preventing sunburn, it also reduces exposure to UVA and UVB rays all year round, which cause long-term damage and accelerate the signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin.

“My most indulgent beauty habit is my nightly skincare routine. Sometimes I use a specific face tool, Snatched by Pauly Blanch for lymphatic drainage and medical-grade LED, all in one device,” she added.

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross previously spoke to us about the benefits of LED Light Therapy. “Just like a topical active ingredient, our skin cells have receptors for red LED. When the light connects with these receptors, it effectively tells our skin to start creating more collagen – the key to healthy, youthful-looking skin. Red LED also stimulates blood flow, which leads to a reduction in inflammation,” he said.

“Acne-causing bacteria also have receptors – one is for blue light. When a specific wavelength of blue light connects to this receptor, it self-implodes. This is how the blue light can uniquely target the bad bacteria without disrupting your skin’s moisture barrier.”

Wellness approach

However, Paris’ evening rituals are much more meditative with a wellness-first approach. “I pray, write a daily inventory and a gratitude list. After I wash my face, I apply sea buckthorn oil or sometimes emu oil. I brush and floss my teeth (yes, I floss every night), and mouthwash,” she shared.

“The best beauty advice I received is affirmations, meditation, prayer, and being of service. My greatest beauty discovery is that a bad personality can make you very ugly, and kindness and humor actually make you more attractive,” she added.

As for her shower secret, she uses African black soap and her favorite fragrance to wear is YSL Black Opium and Jean Desprez, Bal à Versailles.

Paris shared that she “practices self-kindness while also holding myself accountable for the areas I can improve on.” She also explained that being “rigorously honest about the parts of my thinking and behaviours that need improvement” is the craziest thing she’s done in the name of beauty.
