What kind of competition do you face in this field, and how does your company distinguish itself?
We sit at a unique intersection in health care. On one side, there are traditional medical clinics. On the other side, there are med spas and aesthetic practices. Very few operate comfortably in both spaces. What makes Beyond Wellness different is that we don’t believe patients should have to choose between feeling good and looking good. We combine functional wellness, insurance-based medical care, advanced diagnostics and aesthetics into one cohesive model. In central Arkansas, patients have historically had to piece this kind of care together from multiple providers. We built Beyond Wellness to simplify that — to bring everything under one roof and treat the whole person.
What has been your organization’s proudest moment or accomplishment so far?
Honestly, our proudest moments happen quietly — when a patient tells us they finally feel like themselves again. When someone who struggled for years with fatigue, hormone imbalance or inflammation gets their energy back or when a patient gains confidence after an aesthetic treatment, it positively impacts their life in ways they didn’t expect. From a business standpoint, we’re proud to have built something in Arkansas that feels progressive and forward thinking while still deeply rooted in our community. We’ve proven that you don’t have to go to a major metro area to receive innovative, comprehensive wellness care.
How does your company find and utilize the newest technologies in medical care?
We stay very active in continuing education and national conferences, but we filter everything through one lens.
Does this meaningfully improve patient outcomes?
Whether it’s advanced lab testing, regenerative treatments or energy-based aesthetic devices, we’re thoughtful about what we bring into the practice. We’re not interested in trends — we’re interested in results. Behind the scenes, we’re also building better systems to support this type of integrated care model. It’s still early, but we’re working toward technology that will allow us to deliver medical and aesthetic care more seamlessly under one roof. One of the biggest challenges in our industry is that there isn’t a true platform that effectively supports both insurance-based medical care and modern aesthetics in the same system. We’re working to help close that gap — not just to improve our own operations but to contribute to a better solution for practices everywhere operating at this intersection. More to come on this!
