The nutrition program will now be incorporated into the hospital’s inclusive care model, falling under Integrated Care Services.
“We will start with sustaining and strengthening what is already in place, then grow from there,” Director of Integrated Care Services Elizabeth Lerandeau said in the news release. “This program is possible through the generosity of a lot of wonderful community volunteers, and we’re very excited to continue to make this a very meaningful and rewarding way to serve.”
The hospital is hiring a program coordinator and a cook for the Senior Nutrition Program, and will be recruiting volunteers.
