Registration is now open for the second annual Miss GA Juneteenth Pageant, an event aimed at celebrating culture while supporting youth in the community.
Hosted by the NAACP Coweta Youth Council, the pageant is scheduled for June 14 at the Wadsworth Auditorium in Newnan. Organizers say the event serves as both a cultural celebration and a benefit supporting local youth initiatives.
The pageant is open to participants ages 5 to 19 who reside in Georgia and are in good academic standing. Age divisions include Little Miss (5–9), Junior Miss (10–13) and Miss (14–19).
Organizers are encouraging families to consider participation as a way to build confidence and showcase talent while promoting heritage and community involvement.
The event will include a red carpet at 2 p.m., followed by the pageant at 3 p.m.
