MISHAWAKA — Crunch Fitness is coming to Mishawaka at 5944 Grape Road. The health club chain added a Mishawaka location to its website, stating the gym will include a wide range of cardio and weight machines.
Crunch is replacing the former Ashley Furniture on Grape Road, which closed for relocation in January and moved to down the road to 5948 Grape Road.
According to its website, in 1989, Crunch Fitness started as a small gym in a basement studio in New York City’s Greenwich Village. Now, it has over 550 gyms worldwide, and nine locations in Indiana.

The gym will include dumbbells up to 120 pounds, group fitness classes, Olympic lifting platforms, a functional training area and more. Baby sitting services will be provided for parents, and members will have access to a sauna, hydromassage area, tanning bed and hot yoga classes.
