still can't lose weight

According to Bloomberg, 47th US President Donald Trump wants to reinstate the Presidential Fitness Test.

At this point it is unclear exactly what form the Presidential Fitness Test will take, however previous versions involved sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, one-mile runs, shuttle runs, and sit-and-reach stretching exams.

The Presidential Fitness Test was a staple in American schools from the 1950s until it was eventually replaced during the Obama Administration. It gave way to the Youth Fitness Program, which shifted the focus away from standardized, one-size-fits-all benchmarks and toward tracking individual health and personal progress.

In a statement, the White House said the restoration of the test is aimed at “addressing the widespread epidemic of declining health and physical fitness” among young Americans.

“We are building a nation of strong, proud and unstoppable young Americans,” Trump added in a statement. “The Presidential Fitness Test is not just about physical strength, it’s about character, competition and confidence. Together, we are making fitness fun, competitive and cool again.”

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will claim responsibility for the nationwide administration of the test.
