Gilbert wellness center offering special program for moms

A Gilbert wellness practice is launching a six-month program to provide free care to East Valley mothers with young children, aiming to address what its founder describes as an often-overlooked aspect of maternal health: chronic stress on the nervous system.

Foresight Chiropractic Wellness Center, founded in 1999 and located at  2915 E. Baseline Road, will select 10 mothers to participate in “The Mom Reset,” a program offering a series of treatments designed to promote recovery from long-term physical and mental strain.

The initiative, announced to coincide with Mother’s Day and Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, will provide each participant with up to 26 sessions of care over six months, representing about $2,500 in services per person.

Foresight founder and Clinical Director Dr. I. Keith Lavender said the program is aimed at mothers with young children, a group he said often experiences sustained physical and mental demands.

“Mother’s Day is one day. The nervous system load on moms is every day,” Lavender said.

Lavender, who has practiced for more than 25 years and worked with a wide range of patients, said many mothers operate in a prolonged state of stress tied to caregiving responsibilities.

The program is open to mothers with at least one child age 5 or younger, with participants selected through a community nomination process running May 10-24 with recipients announced May 28. Nomations can be made at foresightchiropractic.com/mom.

Participants will receive a combination of therapies designed to address what the practice describes as “nervous system regulation,” including:

• Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (BEMER), intended to support circulation.

• Brainwave-based relaxation sessions (BrainTap).

• Low-level laser therapy targeting areas of tension.

These treatments are typically used together as part of a structured protocol aimed at improving rest, reducing stress and supporting recovery over time.

The program is a coordinated regimen rather than individual treatments, with weekly and monthly sessions intended to build cumulative effects.

Foresight said the program is intentionally limited to 10 participants to allow for individualized care.

“This is not a volume giveaway,” it said, noting  the goal is to provide consistent, long-term support rather than one-time services.

The program will run from June through November.

Foresight Chiropractic Wellness Center specializes in chiropractic and related therapies that emphasize the role of the nervous system in overall health, offering services on a cash basis and accepting health savings accounts.

Lavender said the new program is intended as a community-focused extension of that model.
