I love beauty, obviously – it’s my job. But despite testing products for a living, I’m surprisingly low-maintenance when it comes to my day-to-day routine. Partly because I’m busy, but mostly because I’ve realised the products I consistently reach for are the ones that do multiple things at once. The make-up sticks I can tap onto cheeks, lips and eyes in the back of an Uber. The hair products that make my hair look healthier and style better. The skincare formulas that streamline three separate steps into one.
And thankfully, the industry is finally catching up to how most people use beauty products in real life. We don’t all want a complicated routine with 17 different products layered on top of each other every morning. Sometimes you just want something that makes you look fresher, glowier and slightly more put together in under five minutes.
