A new fitness concept appears to be making its way to downtown Hoboken. Per an inside scoop received by The Hoboken Girl, HOTWORX is slated to open at 61 Paterson Avenue in Hoboken. The space was previously home to a longtime industrial business, marking a notable shift for the property and potentially bringing a different kind of workout experience to the neighborhood. What We Know About HOTWORX + It’s Arrival in Hoboken
HOTWORX is expected to open at 61 Paterson Avenue in downtown Hoboken. According to information shared with The Hoboken Girl, the company recently purchased the property that previously housed Mola Ironworks, a steel business that had reportedly operated there since the 1970s. The change signals a continued shift for the area, as older industrial spaces throughout Hoboken continue to evolve into retail, wellness, and lifestyle concepts.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, HOTWORX is a national fitness studio chain that combines infrared sauna heat with guided workout classes in what the company calls a “3D Training” experience.
The workouts are virtually instructed and include both 30-minute isometric sessions and 15-minute HIIT workouts, all completed inside heated infrared saunas. The concept centers around combining exercise, heat, and infrared energy into one workout environment. The studio model also supports cross-training, allowing members to rotate between different workout styles throughout the week. Per the company’s website, classes range from yoga-inspired sessions to higher-intensity interval workouts. HOTWORX currently lists two membership options through its studios. The “Sweat Elite” membership includes access to all HOTWORX locations, virtual training features, unlimited sauna workouts, and additional perks. The “Sweat Basic” membership includes access to a member’s home studio and core amenities.
