Recipe as follows:
* Tbsp Tamarind fruit or 1 large pod (softened in 2 cup hot water used to blend)
* 1 whole lemon peeled with white lining remaining
* 3 Thumb sizes peeled Ginger rhizome
* 2 bottled water 16 oz. (Optional)
Soften tamarind in 2 cups boiled water and allow to cool so you can blend it safely. Peel 1 lemon leaving white lining off the peel, cut in half, use seeds for added Vitamin boost. Peel 3 thumb sizes of fresh ginger (i left some of the skin on for added vitamins and minerals).
Add all to blender and puree. Pour through strainer or a milk bag removing pulp from blended mix. Compost pulp or toss it out. Add bottled water to concentrated ginger tea to your taste. Sweeten to taste with honey, agave or sugar, your choice. Enjoy hot or cold!!
