Immediately helped my nausea and pain. I have a compromised immune system (endometriosis) and started getting shingles for the second time. This supplement taken at the first onset of breakouts and symptoms helped me.
By the second day my rash cleared up on my stomach. Day three of taking and the nerve pain is almost gone. I’m also taking CBD ointment for my nerve pain in my stomach but it would come and go until I started taking this supplement.
The first time I had shingles it was three months before I understood what I was suffering with. I’ve had allergic reactions and itchy bumps since I was a kid so I didn’t know it was shingles until the infection had progressed.
Even the doctor misdiagnosed me the first time. I was surprised when I suddenly started breaking out again and the same sharp needle pain in my belly button and the same line of pain.
I got the lysine ointment but haven’t used it yet. I’m almost completely healed already. The dosage recommended for (cold sores) has been three twice a day not recommended to consume more than 3000 grams to avoid developing gall stones.
Most will not recommend lysine for shingles but it’s the same virus as cold sores. Follow the money. After the outbreaks are gone follow the recommendation of three once a day for ongoing health.
Don’t overconsume calcium or dairy while taking this supplement. When fighting outbreaks make sure to completely abstain from chocolate and alcohol and cut back on caffeine.
All three contain a substance that promotes the infection. Drink a lot of water to flush out the infection and keep your kidneys healthy.
This is a life saver! Preventatively and proactively works better than any prescription I’ve tried. Have repurchased several times and will continue to do so!!!
Day 1 of using this so cannot give feedback on efficacy as of yet. What I can give feedback on is how easy these are to swallow compared to the L-Lysine horse pills that Sprouts carries. Photos attached showing comparison.
