Vitamins. What they are
Vitamins and minerals are considered essential nutrients—because acting in concert, they perform hundreds of roles in the body. They help shore up bones, heal wounds, and bolster your immune system. They also convert food into energy, and repair cellular damage.
Vitamin D
The major biological function of vitamin D is to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium, helping to form and maintain strong bones.
Vitamin D can modulate the innate and adaptive immune responses. Deficiency in vitamin D is associated with increased autoimmunity as well as an increased susceptibility to infection.
Why Vitamin D?
Not a vitamin, but hormone. Helps the body to keep balance and stay infection free. Gets calcium out of the bloodstream.
Latest research indicates that vitamin D converted to hormone is responsible for around 5% DNA manipulation in the body. Lack of vitamin D may result in severe health implications ranging from autoimmune conditions all the way to DNA malfunctioning.

How to get vitamin D?
Many would say – Sun. True. But… Midday sun is high in UV light and creates skin damage.
Best way to get vitamin D from the sun is during morning and late afternoon sun exposure. Added bonus Infrared light spectrum – another video on that will follow
