Strengthening and building up the immune system and preventing infection with pathogens – an important topic not only because of the current spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Many other bacteria and viruses, such as the influenza virus, present our body’s own immune defenses with major challenges every day.
Fortunately, both children and adults can take many natural measures to strengthen a weakened immune system again and minimize the risk of infection. These include a number of well-known home remedies and rules of conduct, but nutrition and relaxation techniques such as meditation also play a major role.
