DIY Vitamin C Serums are very trendy right now, and as an esthetician I strongly believe that while there may be other types of facial serums that are safe to make at home….a Vitamin C serum is not one of them. While a Vitamin C Serum with L-Ascorbic acid may be the way to go for those with normal, non-sensitive skin that do not use a retinol or exfoliate with various acids…those who DO have sensitive skin, use retinols and or exfoliated regularly with acids will want to choose other options for their Vitamin C …such as Vitamin C esters. We will talk about those options in our next video!
