Science is showing us that there are some common risk factors for contracting coronavirus and how severe it becomes. The science is constantly evolving, so these is just some associations they are noticing thus far. Apart from the societal risk factors such as poverty level, being a front line worker, race, access to health care, there are some individual risk factors that you can make progress on.
Listen to my short chat about the subject:
-Age is #1 (not much you can do about that), but biological age you can
-Obesity
-High Blood Pressure
-Type 2 Diabetes
-Coronary Artery Disease
What can individuals do to reduce their risk factors and improve their immune systems?
-Add more cardio (especially helpful for strengthening lung capacity)
-Add more mini workouts throughout the day (don’t sit all day)
-Clean up your diet (especially get rid of sugar)
-Add more water
-Stress management
-Good sleep
-Vitamin D & sunshine
