INGREDIENTS:

– 1/2 cup coriander seeds
– 1/4 th cup cumin seeds
– 1 tbsp of black pepper
– 1 tbsp carom seeds ( vamu, ajwain)
– 1 tbsp of mother turmeric bulbs ( dumpa kommu) or 1 tsp of turmeric
powder

– 1/2 cup peeled and chopped ginger
– 10 garlic cloves

– 4 to 5 chopped onions (big size)
– salt to taste

FOR SEASONING

– 4 to 5 tbsp of oil
– hand full of peeled and porked garlic cloves

– 2 red chilies
– 1 tsp of mustard seeds
– 1tsp of cumin seeds
– 1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds
– few curry leaves
– 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
