Moringa, or scientifically Moringa oleifera is a tree whose leaves and seeds are known for healing purposes. Its leaves can be administered topically or ingested as medicine and food.
Moringa is a powerful antioxidant, known to help prevent a multitude of vitamin and nutrient deficiency diseases. It is very high in potassium, protein, vitamin C, vitamin A and calcium. Moringa grows in subtropical areas where malnutrition is very high, so these leaves are indeed life saving.
Moringa is so good, that it is used in traditional/alternative medicine around the world (In Senegal, it is prescribed for dizziness, in Aruba for skin ointment, and in Puerto Rico as an eyewash, just to name a few).
