In February 2016, bloodwork showed that my Vitamin D levels were extremely low at a 9. (Ah, so thats why I was so exhausted and mentally foggy! Everything else in my bloodwork looked normal.)
Due to horrible seasonal allergies, staying outside in the sun isnt advisable. My doctor recommended Thorne Researchs vitamin D; he even specified the 5,000 IU.
Now, in early July, my vitamin D levels are at 60, a much healthier level. So Id say that the product worked beautifully.
I was tested and had extremely low Vitamin D several years ago. First I used prescription Vitamin D but later used the Garden of Life brand for a couple of years.
That was okay and brought my Vitamin D up a lot, but not quite enough. I switched to this Thorne brand earlier this year and my Vitamin D finally went up to a level my doctors were satisfied with.
Also, I take a lot of vitamins and have trouble swallowing some of them because they can be quite large. I was very happy to see this is a very tiny pill that is very easy to swallow.
Needless to say, Ive finally found the vitamin Ill stick with.
I liked the fact that is 5,000 mg – instead of the standard 1,000 mg. The price is very reasonable. My Doctor recommendation the manufacturer and told me that they are very reputable.
My naturalpathic oncologist has recommended this product and my blood levels have shown great improvement. I been taking this for over 2 years. I’m very thankful it works so well.
I took this in the beginning of My second pregnancy. It’s a whole lot of i rain D in this. This brand is highly recommended by midwives and doctors.I was taking a prenatal multivitamin and I just assumed the vitamin D amount was way too much.
