This episode of Incremental Improvement begins my exploration of everyday superfoods and looking at food as medicine. In the first installment we’re looking into oranges, the all-time favorite source of Vitamin C.

I’ll go over some of the main benefits of Vitamin C and then move on to some other health benefits of oranges. These include phytomchemicals, such as limonoids, which have antibacterial and antiviral properties and can decrease inflammation and oxidative stress.
