Indian Amla(Gooseberry) is a rich source of Vitamin C and it helps to Boost up the Immunity System.

This is an easy to make recipe. Here are the Ingredients…

Ingredients:
3 Indian Gooseberries (extract juice)
2 Bangalore tomatoes (grind coarsely)
1 tspn turmeric powder
1 tblspn pepper corns & 1/2 tblspn Cummin seeds(together grind them coarsely or use mortar&pestle to pound)
1 cup water
1/2 lemon
Salt to taste

For seasoning:
1 whole Garlic & few coriander leaves( use mortar & pestle to pound them coarsely. Keep the garlic with skin on)
2 Green chillies
1 Red chilly
1 Sprig of curry leaves
pinch of asafoetida
1 tspn mustard seeds
1 tspn Cummin seeds

As shown in the video, first grind the tomatoes, add 1 cup water and then turmeric & salt, let it boil for 7-8 mins. Then add the seasoning, boil in medium flame for a minute and then switch off the flame. Then add the gooseberry juice, pepper cumin powder, lemon juice and serve hot with steamed rice & some veg or non-veg side
