Amidst the COVID-19 global pandemic, many scientists have been working hard in research laboratories in attempts to uncover the COVID-19 vaccine. This word, “vaccine”, has been a buzzword used all over the media. But what exactly does it mean? In this video, I broadly describe how our immune system responds to the introduction of bacteria/viruses and how vaccines take advantage of this process. Hope you enjoy!
