** Benefits & Effectiveness **
Provided you don’t have allergies to milk or soy, this can benefit anyone looking to add protein to their diet without adding too many carbs or too much fat. With 4.4 calories per gram of protein this is extremely high in protein per calorie and it’s lactose free, which will be good news for some consumers.
What really sets it apart from its competitors, though, is the huge array of added vitamins and minerals it contains. Very few products offer with these many vitamins and minerals and especially given the fact that most people are deficient in magnesium and Vitamin K, this could really help round out your diet.
**Shortcomings of the product**
Despite all its benefits, the product remains a lot more expensive as compared to the other proteins in the market. more so in the indian market, the product has an extremely high price ( Rs. 13649 for 7.5lbs). The cost per scoop for various sizes are extremely high. moreover, isolates are considered to be the purest form of proteins, offering upto 90% of protein per scoop. However, the protein per serving for isopure low carb protein powder is only 81%.
To add onto that, a company called Labdoor conducted a study where they found out that the actual protein per serving was only 73.6% and the label accuracy on the whole only 60%. so we dont really know if we are getting the vitamins and minerals as promised on the nutrition label.
