WhiteBoard Style discussion on a randomized trial that came out comparing those with mild to moderate COVID-19 who were treated with either ivermectin and doxycycline versus hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. They found similar duration to viral clearance and similar duration to symptom recovery with an interesting trend towards favoring the ivermectin and doxycycline group. There were no placebo or “usual care” groups to compare to. One of the few studies looking at treatment for COVID-19 at earlier stages in the disease process!
