In 2025, the world became obsessed with beauty accessories. Lip glosses disguised as bag charms, keychains that doubled up as perfume holders, and clippable hand sanitisers that resided outside rather than inside your bag became the order of the day, each as beaded and bedazzled as the next. The cute and functional answer to the Labubu craze, in 2026 the popularity of beauty merch shows no signs of waning as Huda Beauty just proved with its very own take on the Pop Socket.

The newest viral phone accessory to flood our feeds, TikTokers are hailing the handy gadget as a ‘genius’ and ‘iconic’ tool for levelling up selfies. Designed to click on to the back of your phone, it makes for seamless picture taking thanks to its collapsible accordion-like grip for better hold and (crucially) a mini pressed powder attached to the end of it. Move over Rhode phone case? Perhaps, but sadly the Huda Beauty Pop Socket isn’t (yet) available for general sale. Instead, we’re calling it a clever ruse to create buzz around its latest launch, the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed Powder, £32, which thankfully is now available to shop.

Revealed: The Huda Beauty Pop Socket

Stans of Huda Kattan’s namesake beauty line will know this isn’t the brand’s first rodeo with pressed powders. An extension of the viral and bestselling Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder, £34, Huda Beauty previously released a pressed iteration, the Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Brightening and Setting Powder, which admittedly failed to create the same cult following as the OG and was ultimately discontinued. But the new update promises to corrects the wrongs of its predecessor.

‘This has been a dream of mine for so long and I’m finally sharing it with you! New year, new powder; our iconic Easy Bake, now pressed – and we mean it this time! We spent so much time in the labs perfecting this beautiful formula – and I know you’re going to love it! My amazing team and I worked so hard to make sure there’s a shade for everyone. I can’t wait for you to try it!!’ explains Kattan.

Dubbed ‘our first real pressed powder’ by the brand, the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed Powder is finely milled with an ability to quickly smooth, blur and set for a long-lasting airbrushed, matte finish sans shine and caking. In place of talc, you’ll find rice starch which lends the powder its super silky and soft texture that smoothes over skin to sap up oil with ease.

There are eight shades to choose from, most of which correspond with the hues found among the Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powders, each crafted to suit a wide range of skin tones from ultra fair to ultra rich. Packaging-wise, the pan is sleek, slim and minimal, with a generous mirror that captures the whole face, making it ideal for top ups on-the-go. The Grazia beauty team got an exclusive look at the powders ahead of launch and after testing it out on the down low for a while we have some thoughts, keep scrolling for our honest verdict on Huda Beauty’s newest viral must-have.

‘I am incredibly picky with pressed powders. I expect a lot: exemplary oil control, filter-like blur, weightless finish, and so on. In fact there has only been a grand total of one single pressed powder that truly ticked all the boxes and firmly took up residence in my handbag, but Huda Beauty is giving it a run for its money. It’s silky, smooth texture is featherweight and traceless (check), it creates a seriously airbrushed finish (check), and tackles shine instantly without a smidge of heavy, built-up caking (check mate). I’ve taken to the shade Banana Bread, a medium tone with warm yellow undertones, which settles into my skin tone perfectly. For me, the real test of a pressed powder is if it can subtly brighten and lift my complexion alongside everything else and I’m pleased to report this one really does.’

Maria Papakleanthous, beauty assistant

‘The key to a flawless make-up base is a trusty pressed powder and Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake might just be the best one yet. As someone who prefers to avoid the mess of loose powders but still loves the finish of the original Easy Bake, this new hybrid feels like the perfect solution. With warm undertones, I chose the shade Peach Cupcake, which works wonders at mattifying my T-zone and keeping shine at bay all day. The ultra-fine formula blurs excess oil beautifully without ever looking cakey. Because, let’s be real, cakey make-up was never a cute look.’

Rachael Martin, beauty director

‘What’s a girl gotta do to get her hands on a Huda Beauty Pop socket? Thankfully, if you’re not an influencer your jealously will likely be quelled by the brilliance of this powder, which is the real star of the show. Just a small amount pressed across my t-zone takes down excess shine – without the heavy, cakey feeling. A little goes a long way to blur the appearance of pores and blemishes. Gorgeous.’
