The High Court in Ba today granted immunity to four men allegedly involved in the Vatia drug bust in Tavua.
Jonathan Pedro Hill, Sunia Vakaloloma, Iliesa Cokanasiga and Travis Cheer are among 16 people accused in connection with the seizure of over $1 billion worth of cocaine in Vatia, Tavua.
The accused will assist the State in the prosecution of the case.
All four accused, including Anaseini Rokolati were granted bail before Justice Samuela Qica. However, Rokolati was not granted immunity.
The bail conditions are:
Provide two sureties;Non-cash bail bond of $500;Do not interfere with state witnesses;Do not reoffend;Surrender all travel documents;Attend all court dates;Report to the nearest police station every Saturday from 6amto 6pm; and Not to leave their recorded address.
Separately, Munendra, a driver who was previously granted immunity last week, had the charges against him formally dropped.
