The luxury operator is coming to Williamsburg, one of NYC’s hottest neighborhoods, as it also expands its presence in Florida
Life Time is bringing its athletic country club experience to two major U.S. markets in its latest expansion moves, with facilities coming to Brooklyn and just opened in Orlando.
The luxury fitness operator recently signed a deal for a 71,000-square-foot facility in Williamsburg, one of New York City’s most popular neighborhoods. A four-story commercial building currently under development on Wythe Avenue will house the facility, Life Time told New York Business Journal. That could bring a recovery-focused wet-suite concept and a rooftop social club with food, drinks and a pool deck to the trendy New York neighborhood, per the report.
Down south, residents of Winter Park, a city in the Orlando metro area, are already experiencing Life Time’s Athletic Country Club concept that just opened.
Life Time’s first club in the Orlando market, the resort-style facility spans an impressive 173,000 square feet across five acres, uniting fitness, recovery, nutrition and social connection within one environment.
Inside, members and visitors will find amenities spanning a variety of fitness and wellness sectors, including 13 pickleball courts, a dedicated co-working lounge, expansive fitness floor with state-of-the art cardio and strength-based equipment, signature group training programs and luxury dressing rooms with wet suites featuring sauna, steam, whirlpool and cold plunge.
“Bringing Life Time to the Orlando market in Winter Park is a significant milestone for us as we continue our expansion throughout Florida,” said Life Time executive vice president and chief property development officer, Parham Javaher. “Life Time Winter Park reflects how people are choosing to live today, with a focus on integrating health, wellness, work and connection.”
