New wellness business opens in East Stroudsburg

EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A new wellness business is now open in the Poconos with a focus on making self-care simple and accessible. The Pocono Chamber of Commerce helped welcome Wellness City to East Stroudsburg on Tuesday with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Community members and local leaders stopped by the new location on Lincoln Avenue to check out what the facility has to offer.

Wellness City is designed as a one-stop shop for self-care and features services like red-light therapy, cryotherapy, and massage therapy.

Owners say the goal is to create a place where anyone can prioritize their well-being.

“The biggest thing we’re bringing to the Poconos and bringing to Pennsylvania in general is wellness. You know, overall, you get one body once you take care of it, so we have all different types of modalities for you to do that, from the cryotherapy to co-plunge and contrast rooms to massage therapy to red light therapy. We have everything,” Wellness City Owners, Nicole Yates and Garrett Bruner, told 28/22 news.

Wellness City is offering a discounted rate on memberships through this Thursday.
