Spotify is no longer just about music after expansions into podcasts, video, and audiobooks. Up next, Spotify wants to be a place where you can stream guided workouts, in partnership with fitness streamer Peloton.
The new section now appears in the Spotify app. Head to the Search tab on mobile or Browse on desktop, and you’ll see options like Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Live Events, Video, and now a dedicated Fitness section.

Most guided workouts will be exclusive to Spotify Premium subscribers, though free users can access content from select creators, including Abi Mills Wellness, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Sophiereidfit, Sweaty Studio, and Yoga with Kassandra.
You can either select a single guided workout or an automatic playlist that cycles through multiple workouts. Activities include strength with weights or bodyweight, pilates, yoga, stretching, meditation, and cardio activities you can do at home, or guided running and walking.
Those on Spotify Premium will also get access to over 1,400 ad-free on-demand classes from Peloton, with recommendations at the top of the tab. It kicks off with ideas such as workouts to start your day, but this may eventually become more personalized as it learns your routine.
You’ll also get daily recommended mixes that bring together smaller workouts into playlists. If you like a particular Peloton instructor, you can also choose their content through specific playlists. The Peloton app normally starts at $15.99 per month for access to these workouts, though it looks like you won’t have access to everything on Spotify.

This Spotify section will also feature playlists for listening while working out. Most were already available on Spotify, but now they’re all in one place for when you’re starting a fitness routine.
