The Campbells Co. award for school nutrition program

Using a community-driven approach in Camden, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Hanover, PA, Full Futures brings together school districts, non-profit organizations and local partners to improve school nutrition. Through four pillars — culture, infrastructure, nutrition education and food access — the initiative provides hands-on learning and food access programs.

Alliance for a Healthier Generation serves as the program’s backbone, providing centralized support and coordination to create a sustainable and replicable model. In the most recent program year, Full Futures engaged more than 11,000 students, caregivers, and school staff.

“This award recognizes the power of partnership and the belief that every young person deserves access to nourishing food and opportunities to thrive,” said Kathy Higgins, CEO of Alliance for a Healthier Generation. “Full Futures shows what’s possible when schools, families, and community partners work together to build healthier futures.”
