A Victoria Beckham blush is earning rave reviews for its versatility. The Colour Wash costs £44 on the VB Beauty site, and you can also get it for £44 at Space NK and Selfridges.
The blush comes in three shades: vintage rose, coral, and flushed, which is reportedly Victoria Beckham’s favourite. The blush is watercolour-inspired and has a watery texture that blends into skin. It’s designed to look like it ‘naturally rising from within’. The stain sets for a whole day, and can also be used as a lip stain.
To ‘wear Colour Wash like Victoria’, the VB Beauty website says: “Apply to the apples of the cheeks and add to the bridge of the nose for sunkissed effect. Or apply just to the tops of the cheeks for a blush that does a little lifting. Also apply to the lips for sheer lasting tint.”

On the cheaper side, the e.l.f. Sheer For It Blush Tint is only £6 at Boots. Its formula is buildable, and it’s meant to give a long-lasting and transfer-resistant stain.
The VB blush has 4.6 stars from 910 reviews. One person said: “I’m so in love with the Colour Wash formula! It’s so lightweight and it feels luxurious on my skin.
“I purchased ‘Flushed’ and it’s everything I wanted and more. It glides on like silk, melts into my skin seamlessly and gives me that perfect natural flush. It’s just so flattering and absolutely flawless, lasting all day. VBB has totally redefined blush and I am totally devoted.”

Another wrote: “It’s the best liquid blush I’ve ever tried! It lasts all day long and you look glowy! I literally love it! Every friend of mine ask me about it when they meet me.”
“Just a couple of drops on each cheek brings a natural flush that mimics beautifully that fresh glow of of sun-kissed skin,” a third said. “Really good. Looove.”
However, a handful of people took issue with the product’s applicator. One said: “I loved the idea of this product, but was disappointed. The colour is lovely and if you get it right it does give a nice glow. My issue is with the application, it stains your fingers so you really do need to use a brush. I found the applicator unwieldy and tricky to use. If applied directly to your face it dispenses too much so its hard to get it right, and blush needs to be just so.”
But another rave review added: “This is the best product I’ve seen in ages! The blusher is so natural, easy to apply and perfect for over-50s skin. I have always struggled with blusher. Powder looks too cakey and cream blusher just slides off. This is perfect. Thank you!”
