A new gift for CSUN Men’s Soccer expands opportunities for student-athletes, providing scholarships and meals to boost nutrition.

The $110,000 gift comes from the New Hope Foundation, which works to remove barriers to success for individuals in need. CSUN’s support for students with low incomes aligns it with the work of the foundation and its president, Dan Hosseini.

The gift boosts the team’s budget for healthy snacks and meals on road trips. Players receive training about how nutrition impacts on-field performance.

The funding also increases the number of scholarships the team can offer, making it more competitive in recruiting.

By investing in these athletes, the New Hope Foundation empowers them to thrive on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities.
