HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WBMA) — Construction is underway on a new medical office development in Homewood that is expected to expand access to wellness and healthcare services.
Pylon Building Group has begun work on the three-story Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa at 2714 20th Street South. The project is being developed for Crescent Real Estate Holdings, LLC and will replace the existing Metcalf Realty building.
The facility will serve as the future home of Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, a practice focused on holistic and patient-centered care, and will also include space for additional medical and professional tenants.
“Breaking ground in Homewood is a meaningful milestone for us,” said Farah Sultan. “Vitalogy began as a vision to redefine wellness and has grown into a destination for elevated health, longevity and beauty.”
Project leaders say the development is designed to meet the evolving needs of both patients and providers while contributing to growth in the area.
“This project is about more than a building, it’s about expanding access to care,” said Reggie Torbor, CEO and president of Pylon Building Group.
Construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
