
The CMO revolving door seems to be
spinning a lot these days.
Indeed, the average tenure of a CMO at S&P 500 companies is 4.1 years as of early 2026, marking a slight decrease from 4.3 years in
2024 but remaining one of the lowest in the C-suite, according to
Spencer Stuart. Despite the short duration, 62% of departing CMOs leave for promotions, larger roles, or CEO positions.
Two executives landed new CMO roles today including
Allyson Borozan at the Wellness Pet Co, and Nike alum Wendy Kula at Saucony, a Wolverine Worldwide-owned performance running brand.
Kula “replaces Joy
Allen-Altimare, who left the company in November,” according to Women’s
Wear Daily. “Saucony brand president Rob Griffiths was serving as interim CMO since Allen-Altimare’s exit late last year.”

Allen-Altimare is now the
president of Vella Bioscience, which develops clinical-grade formulations at the frontier of women’s sexcare, according to its
LinkedIn page.
Kula will oversee global brand marketing, digital marketing, creative, and go-to-market strategy. She will partner closely with product, sales, and
direct-to-consumer teams to strengthen brand clarity, elevate storytelling, and support growth across key performance and lifestyle franchises, Saucony said.
Borozan replaces
Allison Giorgio, who announced on LinkedIn four days ago that her time with Wellness was coming to a close. She said she would announce “an exciting new chapter” soon.
Borozan joins Wellness Pet from Bob’s Red Mill Natural Foods, where she served as chief growth officer after previously holding the role of senior vice president of
marketing.
“Her appointment brings decades of experience across food, nutrition and consumer brand innovation into the pet care sector, which has increasingly adopted
strategies similar to human health and wellness categories,” according
to CityBiz. “The move comes as pet food companies continue competing around premiumization, functional nutrition and protein-focused formulations designed to appeal to younger pet owners who
increasingly view pets as extensions of family health and lifestyle choices.”
Before Bob’s Red Mill, Borozan spent more than a decade at Kellogg. She also held
brand management and innovation positions at Kraft Foods, now part of Kraft Heinz.
