Health First Wellness Center in the Greenville area has announced it has officially shut down operations and will not transition to telehealth services for patients who have not already been approved, according to a notice from the practice.
Officials said patients will need to find a new primary care provider for future medical needs, including prescriptions. The center noted a 30-day transition period for medical records and medication refills, with requests ending May 8.
Patients who were approved for a telehealth transition and need medication refills are advised to contact the practice through its patient portal or leave a detailed message, officials for the practice said.
The notice also instructs healthcare providers and pharmacies to leave messages for follow-up regarding patient care.
