Blackmores, Fast&Up to highlight active nutrition at the Growth Asia Summit 2026

The rise of nutritional awareness in areas such as muscle health needs and GLP-1 usage is leading to the dawn of a new era in active nutrition — and this year’s Growth Asia Summit is ready to tackle both of these topics.

Indian nutrition brand Fast&Up Co-Founder Vijayaraghavan Venugopal will be spotlighting the active lifestyle nutrition scene in the world’s most populous country, covering existing gaps and opportunities in this scene from chronically underfuelled recreational athletes to the rapidly expanding wave of GLP-1 users.

He will tackle the conundrums of how fitness participation is rising sharply across urban India but protein deficiency is still an endemic local challenge; as well as how The rapid rise of GLP-1 therapies is creating an entirely new nutrition cohort

He believes that active metabolic health is India’s next major nutrition opportunity based on these needs, and that it currently remains largely unbuilt so many new opportunities are available to brands in this sector.

The summit takes place in Singapore on July 8 to 10 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. Book your tickets here.

Reaching the next generation

With saturation becoming a major challenge for supplements companies, Blackmores believes that future growth will depend on brands’ ability to unlock new consumer segments.

The key will lie in creating greater relevance beyond traditional users, and Blackmores Country Manager, Singapore and Regional head of eCommerce for Southeast Asia & Korea Andy Mckimmie will expound on how the firm is looking to do this.

Highlightes will include how Blackmores is developing strategies to win over younger consumers through relevant needs such as active nutrition, muscle support and fun formats; as well as build long-term growth through new entry points.
