CAIRO, Ill. (WSIL) — Community members will have the opportunity to access health resources, screenings, and wellness information during an upcoming breast health event in Cairo.
Community Health & Emergency Services, Inc., also known as CHESI, will host a Breast Health & Health Fair on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cairo Diagnostic Center, located at 13289 Kessler Road in Cairo.
Organizers say the event will include on-site same-day mammograms, breast health education, support resources, community vendors, and giveaways.
The event is open to survivors, caregivers, and anyone seeking information about breast health and wellness. Survivors will share stories and celebrate together.
Attendees can also participate in raffles and prize drawings throughout the event.
Organizers say the goal of the health fair is to provide education, encourage preventive care, and connect community members with local health resources.
