The latest M&S Summer Beauty Bag is worth £200 and includes a mix of SPF, cleanser, bodycare, fragrance and hair products
M&S has launched its 2026 Summer Beauty Bag for £40.
The edit includes 11 beauty products from Clinique, Estée Lauder, Colour Wow and Ultrasun worth £200.
Several products are full size, including SPF, cleanser, sea spray and bodycare.
Beauty bags have quietly become one of the few parts of the beauty industry where shoppers still feel like they’re getting something useful for their money.
As skincare prices continue to rise, such edits work best when they focus on products people might actually finish.
M&S appears to understand that.
Its latest Summer Beauty Bag includes a sensible mix of SPF, cleanser, bodycare, fragrance and hair products from brands you likely already know, including Clinique, Estée Lauder, Colour Wow, Ultrasun and Hair by Sam McKnight.
The bag costs £40, while M&S says the contents are worth more than £200 based on standard product pricing. Several products are included in full size, which makes a noticeable difference compared to the usual beauty-box filler approach.

The overall theme is clearly “summer survival kit” rather than experimental beauty trends. There’s a strong focus on sun protection, hydration and texture sprays.
That practical angle arguably makes this bag more appealing than some previous beauty edits that leaned heavily into makeup shades or skincare actives most people already own three versions of.
The standout products in the bag

The strongest inclusion is probably the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion SPF50.
Daily SPF is still the single skincare step dermatologists agree on most consistently, yet it’s also the product people skip most often because formulas can feel greasy, heavy or expensive to replace regularly. Including a full-size SPF instantly makes the bag feel more useful.
The Ultrasun Photo Age Control Fluid SPF50 also makes sense here because Ultrasun has built a loyal following among people who hate traditional sunscreen textures. It’s one of the few SPF brands that gets repeatedly recommended by people who normally avoid SPF altogether.
The Estée Lauder Perfectly Clean Cleanser is another inclusion that feels refreshingly straightforward. It’s a classic creamy foaming cleanser that doubles as a quick mask, rather than yet another exfoliating acid product pretending to transform your life in seven days.
On the hair side, the Hair by Sam McKnight Sundaze Sea Spray feels particularly well-timed. Texture sprays always resurface around summer because people generally want lower-effort hair once temperatures rise. The formula is designed to create that slightly undone, beachy texture without leaving hair crunchy or sticky.
The Colour Wow products are likely to be popular too, largely because the brand has become one of the few haircare names that crossed over from salon circles into mainstream beauty routines without losing credibility along the way.
Then there’s the Leighton Denny nail polish, which feels slightly random but also quite nostalgic in a good way. Bright coral-red shades appear in almost every summer beauty launch eventually. This one simply accepts the assignment.
Is the M&S Summer Beauty Bag worth it?
For £40, probably yes, assuming you’ll realistically use at least half the products.
The value here comes less from the tiny fragrance or makeup extras and more from the expensive basics people genuinely buy anyway: SPF, cleanser, bodycare and hair products.
It also helps that the brands included sit in a fairly reliable middle ground. Nothing here feels especially trendy or intimidating. Most of it is easy to understand and simple to slot into an existing routine.
That may sound faintly unglamorous for a beauty launch, but honestly, it’s probably the smartest thing about it.
The M&S Summer Beauty Bag is available now online and in selected stores, while stock lasts.
