Jun Ji Hyun reveals her exercise and eating habits

Actress Jun Ji Hyun revealed her daily exercise and eating habits on the May 16 installment of Yoo Jae Suk’s ‘Pingyego’.

For this installment, the stars of director Yeon Sang Ho’s new zombie blockbuster film ‘Colony’ including Jun Ji Hyun, Ji Chang Wook, and Koo Kyo Hwan appeared as guests to promote their project, premiering in theaters across South Korea on May 21.

When asked if she ate breakfast before coming to film, Jun Ji Hyun answered, “I don’t usually eat breakfast. My first meal of the day is a late lunch. I eat around 2 PM.”

On what she typically eats in a day, she said, “I try to eat well for lunch. I try to make lunch a healthy meal, and then for dinner, I eat what I want, but I make sure it’s an early dinner.”

Next, on her exercise routine, Jun Ji Hyun stated, “I work out everyday. It’s always in the morning. Usually about an hour. When I go for a PT session, I do an hour of PT and then an hour of free exercise. I take kickboxing lessons sometimes, and on those days, I just do the lesson because it’s so rigorous.”

Hearing this, Yoo Jae Suk commented, “It must not be easy to work out in the morning and then go to work,” but Jun Ji Hyun replied, “I think working out increases your stamina, which helps on the filming set too.”

Meanwhile, ‘Colony’ marks the newest addition to director Yeon Sang Ho’s zombie universe series after ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘Bando’, following a mysterious virus breakout inside a sealed off building.
