costco vitamin recall canada

Vitamins that were sold at Costco in Canada have been recalled over possible metal pieces inside the pill bottle.

An urgent health product recall posted on Costco’s website says a certain lot of Kirkland tablets is impacted.

“Vita Health Products has initiated a voluntary Type II recall of Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the pill bottle,” the notice said.

The impacted bottles have the following printed on the neck of the pill bottle: 5J46568W7 and EXP FE/2028.

The notice indicates they were sold between February and May of this year.
