Bodhi Salt features services including salt therapy, cold plunges, red light therapy, cedar steam barrels and Shirodhara, an ancient Indian oil treatment designed to promote relaxation.
“We have eight different therapies from three continents, all under one roof,” said Dasha Grankina, owner of Bodhi Salt.
Inside the center, visitors can find therapies aimed at helping people slow down and focus on their health. Grankina said the business is centered on supporting the body’s natural ability to recover and reset.
“Our body’s capable of healing, our body’s capable to understand what it needs,” Grankina said. “And we are here to help you to find your pathways, your own self.”
One of the center’s most distinctive offerings is Shirodhara, a wellness practice with roots in India that dates back thousands of years. The treatment uses a steady stream of oil to encourage relaxation.
“What it does, we’re using really nice organic sesame seed oil infused with herbs like ashwagandha to calm our system,” Grankina said.
Another standout feature is Bodhi Salt’s cedar steam barrels, which offer an individual steam experience while keeping the user’s head outside the heat. The barrels are made out of Siberian cedar wood and are designed to support circulation and detoxification.
“So what it does, it warms up your visceral fat, your inner organs, and it helps to flush your toxins more efficiently,” she said.
The steam is also infused with herbs.
“Wormwood is amazing for liver detox … and the cinnamon bark can help you to warm it [the body] more efficiently,” Grankina said.
As Bodhi Salt opens its doors, the owners say they hope people begin to view wellness not as a luxury, but as part of everyday life.
