What’s your favourite comfort TV show?
“I’m a millennial, clearly it’s all seasons of Sex and the City, plus the movies.”
What’s your favourite comfort movie?
“I am a fashion girl who interned at W Magazine in New York so without a doubt The Devil Wears Prada. I also love to rewatch Home Alone 2 for holiday energy, Mrs. Doubtfire for nostalgia and Blade Runner for its fashion.”
What type of clothing or fashion makes you feel most comfortable and most like yourself?
“When I was younger I was a full on fashion plate. Whatever trends suited my body type and felt authentic I tapped into. I was typically quite early to the trends and I loved, loved, loved fashion. As I’ve gotten a bit older it has definitely become more formulaic and wardrobe-esque. I’d say my style is kind of like if Phoebe Philo Celine had a baby with Hugh Hefner’s pajama-style dressing.
My outfit formula revolves around coats, accessories, and texture. I am usually wearing boring pants (wideleg or jodpurs in velvets and silks), but my jacket game is my pride and joy. Whether it’s vintage leather, a killer trench, or a leopard topper, I live for jackets. And I’m big on jewellery. I’ve collected so much over the years and don’t feel like myself without my yellow gold armour, especially pieces passed down from my grandmother, Sidia.”
