The Athens Limestone Wellness Center will host a free car seat check event Thursday, May 28.
Car seat technicians will check if your child’s car seat is installed correctly.
Event organizers say some car seats will also be available for families who qualify for programs such as WIC, Medicaid, and AllKids.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, four out of every five children aren’t properly secured in car seats.
