Children and families from throughout the region are invited to embark on an exciting adventure as Grand Lake Health System presents this year’s Children’s Wellness Day, themed “Embark on the Grand Lake Health Expedition Around the World” at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.
The annual event, on June 13 from 9 a.m. to noon, is designed to make health and wellness fun, engaging, and accessible while helping children develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime. Through interactive activities, free health screenings, educational opportunities, and community resources, families can enjoy a day filled with learning and excitement.
“We enjoy creating fun, engaging themes for children,” said Heather Jurosic, RN, Population Health Coordinator and Coordinator of the Grand Lake Children’s Wellness Event. “This year’s Expedition Around the World theme allows kids to explore health and wellness through exciting activities while making positive memories with their families.”
The event being held at the commercial building area will feature a variety of health-focused activities led by Grand Lake Health System practices and community partners. Through interactive games, educational handouts, and prizes, children and their families will learn about healthy lifestyles in a way that is both entertaining and meaningful.
