A brand new health and wellness facility has officially opened its doors in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don area.
Named R+R Fitness, the brand-new £200,000 Granite City gym is a major transformation for the former Innovation Centre.
The massive 13,433-square-foot standalone space, featuring a glass-roofed central atrium, is described as looking to act as a premium yet affordable fitness sanctuary for both local residents and the surrounding corporate community.
Operating seven days a week, R+R Fitness says it has been designed around what the founders felt was lacking in traditional gyms, focusing on range and quality of equipment, member inclusivity and comfort, as well as mental well-being.

Members also have access to a private workout room, and wellness hub featuring offerings from local businesses.
The opening follows a soft launch that drew over 200 locals. Gym-only and class-only memberships are available for £35 per month, while full-access all-inclusive packages are priced at £55 per month, featuring over 30 weekly instructor-led classes.
